Yes! You are safe with us even if you’ve never worked out before. Our classes are designed specifically for the pregnant and postpartum body. We pride ourselves in being at the forefront of perinatal fitness. All our classes have been developed using the most current, science based research. We offer small classes for optimal attention, a range of modifications to meet all fitness levels and our instructors are trained with the most extensive pre/postnatal certifications in the industry.
While we don’t require documentation, we ask that you get your practitioners approval before beginning our workout. We are happy to speak with your provider should they have any questions.
As often as you’d like. We are huge proponents of moving every day during your pregnancy! Our classes are designed to suit all energy levels during your pregnancy from tired to high energy. It’s also never too early to start and safe to continue up until your delivery.
Our Pump & Kegel® foundation is the key to moving safely through your pregnancy and postpartum recovery. It was developed specifically to prevent AND rehab Diastasis Recti and protect the pelvic floor.

If you wish to cancel a class, you must do so at least 12 hours in advance or your class credit will be forfeited. Unlimited members must cancel within a 6 hour period to avoid being charged a $20 no show fee. If you miss the cancellation window we welcome you to drop in to any of our other classes the same day as your original reservation.
We can offer private sessions for anyone that isn’t ready for our general classes or navigating specific conditions. Once you are strong enough, we’ll introduce you into our community classes! At FPC we are looking to act as a community for mothers and mothers-to-be so even if you are taking advantage of our private sessions, we encourage you to participate in our group classes in order to build relationships with women who are in the same stage of their lives. First and foremost, we ask that you always listen to your body and do what feels best. We encourage interaction and feedback between you and the instructor in all our classes.. If you begin to feel ill, experience pain, or a movement doesn’t feel good,, the instructor can guide you into a restorative pose or offer a modification. Your comfort is a priority. We ask that you inform us about anything that seems out of the ordinary or you have a question about. Our instructors are well versed in common pregnancy conditions and have modifications that will safely guide your through our classes.
Yes. We keep our class sizes small in order to provide you with the best personalized instruction. Please arrive at least 5 min before class. Otherwise your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist. Please note that no one will be admitted more than 10 min after class begins. This is done to ensure your body is properly warmed up and ready for the progression of exercises. *If it’s your prenatal first class or first postpartum class back, we require that you arrive at least 10 min prior to the start of class in order to check in with the instructor. First timers won’t be permitted to take class if you arrive after class begins. Thank you in advance for understanding!
All equipment will be provided. While we have a water cooler, but we recommend you bring your own water bottle. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in and no shoes are needed. We also ask that you please be respectful of the instructor and other class members and not use your cell phone during class, but DO take advantage of gushing to your friends about us via social media before and after!
We welcome pre-crawlers into all our postpartum classes! We have a changing table station and we are nursing and pumping friendly.
Our FPC Membership is a monthly unlimited membership that includes a 6 hr cancelation policy (vs 12) and reduced fees to our weekly workshops. Our unlimited membership auto-renews each month. You can book up to 1 class per day and are subject to no-show and late cancelation fees of $20. Memberships can be placed on hold while you make the transition from pregnancy into motherhood. If you need to pause or cancel your membership, please email email@example.com 48 hours BEFORE your auto renewal date.
In order to maximize your workout, we recommend you have a mat as well as a set of 2lb, 5lb, (and/or) 8lb weights. You may also find a set of yoga blocks helpful for stretching and adding comfort to our leg series.
