Protecting your Core for Birth & Postpartum

Join FPC instructor, Jamie Jones, as she answers all your questions and shares the secret to moving through your pregnancy with more strength, less pain and gives tips on how to make a complete recovery in postpartum.

 This workshop is Pre and Postnatal friendly and especially great if you are new to FPC, are recovering from a Diastasis Recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, experiencing lower back pain or other pre/postnatal pain, or if you feel like you need more clarity and have questions about our "pump & kegel" cueing.

We'll be covering:

  • the anatomy and function of the "inner core unit" (aka the muscles you need to continue to train during pregnancy)

  • What exercises to do starting day 1 post birth

  • Diastasis Recti prevention and rehab

  • How to avoid pelvic floor dysfunction
